The comedy horror sequle movie 'Ghostbusters 2' raised expectations at the UK box office, as did 'Lethal Weapon 2'. The first 'Batman' movie since the 60s became a massive global success, with a huge performance by Jack Nicholson as The Joker and a soundtrack by Prince. Meanwhile on TV, 'Challenge Aneka' began it's long TV run, bringing charity builds to an ever-hungry audience, whilst 'Blackadder Goes Fourth' became the final, and most successful of Rowan Atkinson's historical situation comedy series. Gloria Estefan started the month at the top of the album charts with 'Cuts Both Ways', and the Eurythmics closed the month, debuting at the top with their 7th studio album 'We Too Are One'!
